Commercial fencing for Novi properties
Anchor Fence is a fence contractor for Novi businesses, property managers, and facilities. From our Redford shop, we install commercial chain link, ornamental steel and aluminum, swing and slide gates, cages and enclosures, guardrails, railings, and booths and turnstiles. Novi’s zoning ordinance sets its own height limits for nonresidential fences, and taller fences need city approval or a variance. We check those limits for your site, plan the gates around your traffic, and back every installation with a two-year workmanship warranty.

Commercial fence work for Novi sites
Anchor Fence installs the full set of fence work a Novi property tends to need.
The kinds of Novi sites we fence
Novi sits where I-96, I-696, I-275, and M-5 meet, and its business areas reflect that. Office and industrial parks hold research, health care, logistics, manufacturing, and auto supplier firms. Grand River Avenue and Haggerty Road carry dealership lots, and the Novi Road and I-96 area is a busy retail center. Each of these sites needs a fence for a different reason.

Novi zoning and fence approvals for business sites
Three things shape a commercial fence job: what the city approves, how the crew works on your site, and what we put in writing. Novi’s Zoning Ordinance covers fences for homes and businesses in one section, Sec. 5.11. Nonresidential fences have their own height standard. A fence that goes past that standard needs a variance from the Zoning Board of Appeals, which hears these requests at public meetings. A substantial fence, such as a tall fence on a foundation, can also get structural review by the building department.
Novi also bans barbed wire and electric fences on residential lots, and the city reviews site plans for commercial projects. Your site plan may already set fence locations, heights, or screening. That is why we ask for your approved site plan before we price the job.
We confirm the current limits and approvals with Novi Community Development, 45175 Ten Mile Road, (248) 347-0415, before work starts.
